Charlie's Haven is a newly constructed home designed for the site featuring large and small windows strategically placed to take advantage of the sun as it rises through the pines and cycles into dusk. Walls are artfully painted to catch the sun's glow whether it is shining bright or hiding beneath grey winter skies. Enjoy the play of light as you lounge in the comfy couch or loveseat in the great room featuring a vaulted aspen ceiling and hardwood cherry floors.
Charlie's Haven is pet and smoke free and sleeps 4 comfortably.
Great room: Charlie's Haven's most dramatic feature is the north facing great room: vaulted ceilings, kitchen/ dining area and living room style seating & TV area all in one. Hardwood cherry floors provide warmth and luxury to the feel of the space.
Kitchen: Love to cook? The kitchen will inspire you with its marble countertops, Chicago Cutlery, Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Steel cookware and state-of-the-art range and refrigerator.
Ground floor bedroom: At the end of the day nestle into the bedroom with its brand new queen bed and northwoods furnishings.
Loft room: Sleeping arrangements include a loft (accessed by a standard well lit staircase) that serves as a sitting or yoga area by day with 2 futon/couches that fold down to queen sized beds. that could sleep 4, if 2 can share each bed. Loft windows afford you with a distant, yet year-round view of Lake Superior.(Please bear in mind: children are not permitted to sleep or be in the loft without an adult).
Deck: There is a small deck on the north end of the house, with cafe table (seats 2) and grill, affording you privacy from McFarland House and the highway.
